I was thinking it was the same one but didn’t know if it was being sold again since I wasn’t sure who they sold it to
Scott didn’t mention that detail when I was talking to him about it or else I would have brought up those pics too. Crazy I’d never heard about them and then there’s two unrelated mentions/sightings in a couple weeks.
Edit: I just realized that this makes this not a Postal and not RHD.
Scott, did it have windows in it?
For the historic value and since it’s the first I’ve seen these ever come up in 16 years of this forum, I did a screen grab of the pics off FB because the link didn’t work well.
NOTE: these photos are copyright Jason Quinn from the Mark Quinn collection from where they were posted on the Project Survivor CJ group on Facebook.

No it did not have windows in it, like a Postal, but it DID come with with the bench seats on the side that you would find in the Overlander, OR a facility tour vehicle, I sold those a few years later. And his donor jeep was RHD Fo' sho'.
I purchased my 71984 CJ8 Scramlber used in 1987. Heard of a Overlander Postal and purchased it to perhaps restore. It was a factory vehicle taken off production line and never titled 16,975 original miles for snow plowing factory parking lots. It was sold twice before I bought it, and put headlights in the sockets so I could title it. Runs well, but as expected floorboards are very poor. Top is excellent, with right hand drive floor aitomatic control. Not sure I am willing to put effort into restoration but understand very few still are on road. Comments?

Well this one's interesting. Can you post more pics? And a VIN? There was another discussion about a factory parts runner CJ-8 that had the World Cab top installed.I purchased my 71984 CJ8 Scramlber used in 1987. Still looking over the list of braces etc to restore floor. Will decide soon which way to go. Original engine runs great, with less then 17,000 original snow plow miles.Need looking Scrambler.
I would be interested in taking on the restoration if you ever decide not to pursue the restoration on your end.

I bought my Scrambler in 1987, as second owner. I later purchased the factory snow plow Overlander that had never been titled nor used outside the factory parking lots in Toledo.Wow. You bought it in 87 and it had already been sold twice? That’s crazy! What a cool find! Definitely very few still together, I just found out about another Postal that had the top/doors separated from the vehicle. I’ll update this thread soon.
Will get more photos to post, including the AMC Factory decal for use as a snow plow.
Okay, it's been a very long time since I've posted anything. Lately, I found myself looking at the forum again. Then I saw this thread and it mentioned a Postal that I happen to own. Mine is the one from Oregon that got shipped to central Indiana. Actually, it didn't get shipped, the owner and her husband drove it to my house from OR. They did it in five days. After driving it, there's enough play in the steering that I had trouble keeping it my lane without constant correction. I can't imagine driving it 2000+ miles like that. She was probably used to it. She used it to deliver mail in OR for many years. I've got it stored away in my garage along with my other Scrambler. Both of them are future projects after I get done restoring my motorcycles.View attachment 67364View attachment 67365
