Installing the PS pump assembly to the engine/engine mounted bracket.
Two bolts up front to secure the front aluminum bracket:
One bolt on the rear, "Rockford", to hold rear aluminum bracket to the steel block bracket:
The long "double threaded stud" goes through the front aluminum bracket and threads into the steel block mounted bracket:
Remove this bolt:
Flat black plate bracket goes on next. I had to temporarily install the long/dangly aluminum bracket to the head studs, tighten the front nut down, to get everything to line up. The whole assembly is a huge PIA to install. Leave everything loose, tighten some parts, to get all the holes to line up:
Tightening down the front nut to aid alignment:
And finally, all brackets/bolts/nuts/installed:
Pulley alignment between the crank/WP/PS pump is OK:
Alignment off one groove between the PS pump pulley and the idler pulley:
Alignment good between the alternator and its idler pulley:
