Current Scrambler pics

My brother in Oregon said that the hot shot forest fire fighters eat the local honey that’s I guess been pollinated with the local poison oak. I guess they are out in the thick poison oak.

My wife met a photographer on a recent mountain bike ride. She asked if we would like to be "models" for a new Kayak company that needed marketing pictures and video. It paid $100.00 each.

We decided to do it and setup a time to meet at a cove on nearby Lake Shasta. Then we had some serious rain with the last "Atmospheric River" that came through. The photographer called my wife and asked "Do you happen to have a high clearance vehicle? The dirt road to the photo shoot location is washed out and has some deep holes with water covering part of the road." Of course my wife immediately sent a Scrambler pic. The photographer said "Wow! Maybe we can put the kayaks on the roof and get some pics of it too!" So we did it. The road was washed out and had lots of ruts, potholes and some good size puddles. Nothing for the Scrambler. I brought some Home Depot pipe insulation tubes and we put the kayaks on the roof and did some basic tie downs. Would never drive with them that way but it worked for the photo shoot.

We then put the kayaks in the water and she got hundreds of pics, many video clips and some drone video. We'll see if they make it to the site as this was one of five shoots they did. I'll post if we see them. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and now we are "professional models"!

Here are a couple of shots we took with our phones:

In my first thread I told you guys I’d add some more pics of the one I’m about to pick up. A little rough around the edges, but it cleaned up pretty good. Think I could be overpaying a bit but it’ll be a lot of fun to work on and something I hope to not sell anyways. Should be driving it home tomorrow or Thursday if everything works out
