Boomerang why tell me my good man. I'm looking to understand.Weld in your tube to take up the offset and space the shackles correctly.
Not tough.
That said, I could find you offset shackles, but since you're doing this, it's the best way.
I'd then run a boomerang.
YJ springs are 1" longer and I assume your sleeve location is still CJ spring spacing.Boomerang why tell me my good man. I'm looking to understand.
As I recall yes they were cj springs (I think it was a Ranchero kit). Sold them many years ago.YJ springs are 1" longer and I assume your sleeve location is still CJ spring spacing.

Just myThis pic is the way the springs would sit with the current reverse shackle system and 5" shackles. When the frame is fully loaded (jeep complete) the shackles will be in a more vertical or leaning back position (this my estimation). The springs are OMU HD and the motor is basically stock 258 plan on winch for front bumper (bumper weighs in at a solid 100lbs).
Curious about the need for boomerang shackles?View attachment 118925

I agree. Now FLCJ8 point is where I was going. Assemble with current shackles and get a visual and any relevant measurements. To Bigwalton''s point it appears there is going to be an issue. My question is will boomerang shackles cure the impending issue or is there something I have to address now while the frame is at a very workable position? Like having to relocate the sleeve hole.To my eye those shackles are going to put the spring eye against the frame on droop and compression regularly.
@FLCJ8 has a point to just see where you end up, but that simply doesn't look like enough clearance between the frame and eye for as much as I see shackles moving unless this is purely a road-driven Jeep (and even then...)

Thank you. I have checked this information out before. Here is some information that may be pertinent to your situation.
One is a YouTube video by M.O.R.E for the installation of their kit, the other is the install instructions with pics.
They both have some information on shackle location and angles for their product that may be of help.
