Current Scrambler pics

Let me know when you start the cruise-ins back up. I’ll drive up there for one. I can park next to you with my Longhorn on the front of my 8.View attachment 119329
Man, not sure if that works... April - Oct, 4th Saturday, though I know we will be on Rt66 during the first 2... You need to beware of sawed off horns... ;)

All cleaned up and ready to head out on Wednesday. Towing the Scrambler down to Carlsbad, CA (10 hrs, 650 miles) and going to a niece's wedding. Then after that, we're going farther south with just the Scrambler to spend 5-days and 4-nights in and near Joshua Tree National Park. The Scrambler has nearly 10K miles on it since the rebuild. Have been doing lots of easy/medium trails in Nor. Cal and Oregon.

Had a grand Death Valley adventure planned for this trip but "Tropical Storm Mario" dumped .6" of rain in September and washed out all the cool stuff. Will be closed for a while: Titus Canyon, Goler Wash, Lippincott Pass etc. So Joshua Tree it is!

We'll wheel in from the BLM land North of the park on Old Dale Road hitting a bunch of old mines and doing some dispersed camping. We'll hit the Brooklyn Mine jeep trail. Then we'll enter the park and see some of the cool stuff there and hit the dirt roads through Pinkham Canyon and Berdoo Canyon. We'll do some day hikes to the Oasis and some Petroglyphs.

Should be fun!

I added some 2-gallon RotoPax water tanks. (yeah, i need to straighten them a bit) I carry six gallons inside. So 10 total. This will allow for some showers!

Ouchie’s…..details please @gr8dain
I went wheeling at Good Evening Ranch in Canvas WV over Halloween weekend. I was playing with the Big Boys on tons and 37s/40s and we went into Cripple Creek which started out OK but got worse. I was unable to climb one wet rock and got my winch going. Well after all of the forward and backward of trying, I was accidentally in reverse when i started to winch. I broke an axle stub shaft on the front driver wheel. I did not realize that this broke as well until I drive it to work on Monday.
