    What's on your Work Bench?

Removing these roll bar Torx bolts is considered a rite of passage for real Scrambler owners. If you’ve never done it, you’ve missed out on one of the true “pleasures” of ownership.

    New to Jeeps

Welcome! I’ll add that these Jeeps are fairly simple to work on. With help and guidance from people on here, you can learn to do most anything yourself, if you’re so inclined. A copy of the old full service manual can walk you through most things, step by step, also.

    Black CJ-8 Laredo

With the issues with the aftermarket tubs, you are way better off if you can repair an original tub. That said, the aftermarket Throttle Down Customs frame gets great reviews from those that have used them.

    What's on your Work Bench?

Yes, it does. The first one was a Pepsi front graphic. This one is a generic one that just says “Cold Drinks”, we’re going to change it to an American Flag front panel. They can be changed to whatever you can find. Branded fronts are usually the property of that brand.

    What's on your Work Bench?

Once you remove everything inside, they aren’t really heavy. The weight is the drink rack and compressor. You need to add weight in the bottom to keep it from tipping forward when the door is opened. This the first one that I did, almost complete in this picture. I added a shelf above the...

Working on turning this old drink machine into a storage container/safe for guns. I’ve done one before. This one will be auctioned off at a Ducks Unlimited banquet in March.
