What's on your Work Bench?

Well, not on my "workbench", but ole Blue is headed to Topeka KS on Monday for some new gears, steering ala Jake White's redo of the raffle Scrambler, alum radiator and tune box. Oh yea, Jeep Air too... The big reveal will be at the Nationals in KY if'n you want to check it out when done.

This, is in effect on my workbench. Making a hood awning with this '61 Apache 20 hood we went to ND to pick up in January. Will use different supports than in the attached, but same concept. Will have a light underneath the middle of the hood and the turn signal lights will be LED and be on as parking lights too when the main light is on. The pic without the hood is where it is going on my shop.

This was sold at a Ducks Unlimited auction this evening, without any of the contents, it was a live auction with lots of bidders. It brought $4100. Only a chocolate lab puppy brought more, but he was pretty cute. I was amazed. A couple of people said I should be building and selling them.

I think those people were right. Wow!

I’ve worked at that one too!
We may have met at one time or another, I was there form 1979 to 2021, retired came back a few times of the next 2 or 3 years to work manage contractors during shutdowns.
