I didn't know you could even adjust the timing at all on a mopar mpi kit. I just always set it at zero and thought the computer did the rest. I never had any pinging so maybe I never needed to adjust .
A rod knock is usually unmistakable. It's not a tap. It sounds like a hammer hitting metal. If it's a rod knock it will need completely rebuilt. You can replace just the bearing but it will come back soon just like it did to you.
A rod knock will be present at all engine rpm. It will be...
I feel like the first one is over priced a little. A similar scrambler sold on ebay a few weeks back for 11,600. The body was similar maybe not quite as good but the interior was better.
Hard to tell much on the second one from the pics. Would want to see pics before paint.

This will open a huge can of worms. First of all your front axle will be much wider than the rear. Second you will have to address steering, third longer brake lines, custom shock mounts, new drive shafts, 6 lug front axle so different wheels. This is just off the top of my head.
You...
I will go take a look in the barn. I have a mopar intake and a factory one on the shelf. I really don't think there is any difference. The biggest problem I see is if they quite making all the parts. You really need the crank sensor relocation kit. Also the reworked harness is so much...
