    74 CJ6

I bought this one out of Co. a few months back. Needs a few things, like replace steering wheel, fix horn, etc, but pretty much rust free. Will need body mounts, new springs and maybe a complete resto at some point, but for now it's my driver. PS, 258, T14, 30 drum up front, 44 out back, 373...

    1968 CJ-6

didn't have enough projects, so I decided to give myself another one to keep me busy. So this one was bought out of Indiana on a road trip that covered 2200 miles and 30 hours of driving. No, I did stop for a nap of about 4 hours. Ohio has a lot of troopers on the highways. Hows a guy suppose to...

    1953 CJ-3b

Picked this up a few months ago. Was hoping it was a driver for the year or two that it was going to take me, to get the 46 done. That way I would have my fix of flattie, while working on a flattie. Came out of Cali, so kind of rust free, other than a few small sections. But when I got home and...

    Before the snow is gone.

Made the last trip North to Pittsburg NH this past week before all the snow melts. There is at least 3-4 feet left on the trails, but clubs stopped grooming, so before too long, the trails will be too rough and whooped. Day one was ok but then the son got a message from a friend, that another...

What do you think about this?

Not sure this is exactly the place to post this but, here goes. Moderators feel free to castrate me if necessary, but leave a little for the woman. I'm getting ready to get started on the Scrambler. Just shopping a few parts, mainly the tub. I don't want to spend years on my rusted out metal...

Bone yard thread is now open

I knew that would get your attention. Every year we pick a Jeep, of one short or the other and we throw some bones on it out in the yard, hence the BONE YARD name. Every Halloween we do this. So I challenge you old folks to do the same and post it up. This year it was the Scrambler, but you...

    Heading to Michigan UP

I am heading out tomorrow morning to head up to Pelkie Michigan to pick up a 1963 M170. This will be the longest trip ever taken, to buy a Jeep. LJ tub on a CJ8 frame ???

Not sure where to post this. Thought up in the Rambling section would be better, but I will try it here first. I have the chance to pick up a 2005 LJ Unlimited 2 door tub. Its rust free and in great shape minus a little rear quarter work. (bent corner) How far off are we frame wise if I decided...
