Oh, we did have it running.
Lot's of small stuff to finish. Hope to drive by end of week.
Test run scheduled for May 11, finger crossed.
If we meet that deadline and all goes well, it will head to Moab for the last week of May!

what did you use to wrap the exhaust?
 


Didn't like how the winch solenoid box covered the turn signal.
So pap did a nice little mod to move it more center to clear turn signal.


4.0L computer and fuse box nicely attached to fender, along with ARB compressor for front locker.

Pap fabbed up a nice bracket for clamping the K&N filter in place.


 
I have the older version of this shifter that integrates the 1st gear lock and LOVE it, perfect in the dunes or anytime I want to feel like a Ferrari driver popping between gears with the flip of a switch:

You can also wire in the torque converter lock and I made a spot on my mount for the switch to do it, but honestly I couldn't figure out when you'd want to lock it out enough to justify doing the mod. Open to your thoughts on that one.
 
Are you using a 77-82 Corvette Master Cylinder? I had heard that they are a decent upgrade to the stock master cylinder....I ask because I keep buying NEW ones from the parts store and the lids keep leaking, looks like a better lid design.

No. It is the Navajo brake kit from Off Again 4x4. http://www.offagain4x4.com/Navajo_brakes.html

This was used unit we acquired. The master cylinder was bad, the guys at Off Again said to use master cylinder from a 1978 Chevy 1 ton

It lives, running and shifting pretty good.
Trying to figure out shocks and bump stops.
