Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

These came in on the same day to the bottle shop where I shop. So far have had the Lagunitas Sucks and Victory Dirtwolf. Both were very tasty IPA's. Looking forward to the other two especially the Hop Ranch.

After two hard days of skiing in Colorado (Vail and Breckenridge) I am trying out a Firestone Double Jack, Double IPA.
It is rated 100 points.

It's really good. Good IPA flavor and really smooth to drink. Recommend it for sure.

Sweet. And I am jealous u are skiing in Colorado let alone drinking IPA !

After a long long week of four days about to embark on a four-day weekend thanks to a day off tomorrow and Martin Luther King Day Monday. so I figured a double fist of IPA was in order

Stooped at Costco and they had the Portland Brewing 22oz Variety pack. First one I tried was the Royal Anne Cherry Stout...I was a bit aprehensive about this one, but the cherry taste is almost nonexistent. A smooth easy drinking stout that sneaks up on you...

New one from our local brewery White Flame called project Z raspberry pale ale. Kinda sweet with a hoppy note.

These are a RARE find. Boulevard started a limited edition of these last year. They sold out in local liquor stores the week they were released. I had to procure one at my local pub last year (and they knew it was scarce, charging $40 a bottle). I highly recommend it!

I had wanted to try Rye-on-Rye after a recommendation from one of my neighbors. So thanks :thumbsup:for the prompt :D I called a few establishment that always carry a wide variety of specialty brews. Then I called the best supplier within 135 miles, they have 1 bottle left. Their putting it on hold for me. I'll pick it up tomorrow. $13.98:cheers:
Also while there of coarse, pick out some of what we've been missing along with a few others.

I gave this Smithwick's Irish Ale a try tonight and it is really good. Imported form the Brewers of Guinness.

Nice amber beer with a smooth finish.

Smithwick's is pretty much dominant in the colleges and bars of Mass... been a while since I had one, but it is very good.

It was very good. First one I've ever tried but will not be the last. I picked it up in Auburn, AL last week. Have never seen it in North Georgia.
