Speaking of, the fuel pressure regulator is going to live right behind it. Needed to make this call to finish the fuel lines. This will allow me to put the pressure gauge right into it and skip the AN take off fitting that I had planned to use.

I’m running the fuel lines on the opposite frame rail for stock to get away from the exhaust. I’ll reuse the stock line for the vent to the charcoal canister on the other side.

And since Sam set this up to have the stock fuel line location I’d have to modify his fancy stainless return line. The 90 degree bend runs the wrong way. I could cut it and do a compression to AN fitting to go the right way. (I plan to sleeve the stainless line in a DEI heat sleeve.)

Now to finish the fuel lines. Filter going high on the frame where it’s easy to get to.

I rerouted all of my fuel lines to the opposite side as well. Get the fuel away from the heat. Prevent potential vapor lock issues.
 
Got things situated and ordered the last fittings I think I need to get the regulator set up.

Found a great bolt to use behind the brake booster and had a piece of unistrut laying on the bench that was perfect to mount it. Installed the pressure gauge here since it’s so easy to see and I didn’t need another fitting in the line.

Have a 3/4” o-ring plug for that open port you see and have an AN-8 o-ring to AN-6 fitting for the return port on the bottom and an AN-6 o-ring to AN-6 for the port that points basically back along the firewall where I’ll run the line back from the fuel rail.

Got a couple compression to AN-6 fittings to cut the 90 degree bend off Sam’s pretty stainless hard line and then a 45 degree fitting back to the regulator. Going with a straight compression to AN fitting and like a 45 degree fitting to the regulator will let me play with the orientation of the stainless line, which I like.

A 45 degree fitting for the supply line and some clamps on the firewall and it should be set.

Got a DEI heat sleeve for the return line.

Pump feed runs to the rail, return runs through the regulator, nice and simple.
