Really nice of you to put these on your "Dad's" Scrambler. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

Are those eagle alloys? I have the same. Did the Duratracs in a 31x10.5-15, studded, on the stock chrome wagons. I want to do 35" trxus on the Eagles. I still love those wheels.

They are 16x10 ProComp 1069 polished, which had been back ordered and out of stock everywhere since September. I tried calling all the major distributors and no one had them, so I tried American Racing Bajas... Also back ordered... 4wd Hardware jerked me around for 3 months and never gave me any hope or reasoning for pushing my ship dates back over and over and never contacted either manufacturer. Their customer service was pretty crappy when I called and tried to get better explanations so I told them I would just take my business elsewhere, they said they would offer me a $75 gift card if I would keep my order. Which I said was kinda weak considering I'd been waiting for over 3 months on a nearly $2000 order. Quadratec contacted both ProComp and American Racing without me even suggesting it, got real production dates for me and had it all to my door in 3 weeks! The only reason I even went with 16s is so I could get the 35x12.50 Duratracs which are really LT315/75R16s and tallest they make.
Overall I'm really pleased with the looks and ride! Best combo I've had on any Jeep...

That's odd, I have no issues with 4WD. I do know half the staff though. Also 4wd is now owned by the same folks that own: pro comp, smittybuilt, rubicon express, 4 wheel parts wholesalers, and several others I can't remember atm. Tires and wheels seem to be always on back order, they are made in batches, by size. I ended up with Mickey Thompson MTZ's because that was the only 35-12.50R15 in stock at the time I needed them. The only other option is to call around and see who has what you want laying around in stock. Big companies like 4wd, Summit, etc can buy a lot of 500 and be out quick. Then they sit around waiting on production to replace the lot.

Congrats! And they 8 looks sweet too!

........ And it's gone....... Before I could confirm with my wife and get checked out (less than 10 minutes) "no longer available for sale" $299!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've learned my lesson. When you see a deal you want, pull the trigger NOW or someone else will.

I did a deal very similar to this on eBay... I think it's a scam. I paid through PayPal and had to contact eBay to get a refund when the seller "Couldn't find the listed product in their warehouse"... And that only came after getting ebay to contact them anyway after they never responded to my messages.

Here's the info I have left from mine...

This one was out of Indianapolis. And they had actual photos... Leading me to believe it was legit even though I was skeptical...

I guess I'll never know!

So this happened about 2 weeks ago...

I've been in denial that it's even parked out front and that the Scrambler has to go for real this time.. I'm struggling to accept that I really won't have the means or finances to do an engine swap out here for a quite few years in order to pass emissions. Even though I was, and still am willing to deal with the headache of putting a car seat in the rear of a lifted Scrambler (after a full top and rear seat were acquired) I decided to do the right thing for now. Both my wife and I are very sad to come to the conclusion that I needed to buy the XJ and sell the CJ8.... So it will be back up for sale. I'll post a new ad in the for sale section very soon to update the current location, status and price...

I'm gonna need a stiff drink when this is all over with.

Well at least it looks like a nice XJ, I just sold mine 2 months ago. Got some parts for sale listed on this forum(a few nice, uncommon parts).
Better make that stiff drink BIG!

I hate seeing a fine Scrambler like that going up for sale because I just know you are at sometime going to start kicking you own a$$ for selling it.
