A Postal! Very cool. I thought it might be that or an Overlander. Having spent most of my life driving on the left and being 6'6", I find RHD much more comfortable to drive.

Just took the hard top off today. First time driving it topless in a couple of years. That swap took a while.

Did some Overlanding this past weekend about 1,000 kilos to a show and swap meet. In preparation for the trip, and dusting the Overlander off, I replaced the tires, switched to white wheels, and did a bunch of other mechanical maintenance. Need to dust off the thread on this one too as I spent a solid 4-5 days fixing things and driving it every day for the first time in a few years..

Practically NOS from 1992 i had saved for this one , 31s, I like the extra word on the tires to give the vintage look. Zero dry rot and fresh rubber, I’m comfortable on them since I mount and balance myself, I can tell any issues overall when I do so.

I think BFG used better rubber back then- I’ve had 3-5 year old MT’s that were already starting to check...

Towing that trailer down is just amazing. Love it!

Thanks to you both. One more pic here before I update the Overlander thread. This pic makes the trailer look more realistic in size. It’s a 5x8 trailer which works well as the exact width of the tub. Probably had about 2000 lbs in there. With 3.73 gears, strong rebuilt 6, and trussed rear with 1 piece axles, it pulls very well.

Old BFG ATs are a good looking tire for a classic CJ! We mount and balance our own rubber too. We have an old coats set. My 31 rubber is a little newer at 2000. No cracks or imperfections yet either, but no stamped radial. I chose to go 15x8 with redline.

Little visible Postal but the first drive of the year and I found/replaced a cracked coil that appears to be the cause of the random misfire I was having before and after the crank position sensor died
