Yep, not sure, but plan a new name and updated build. From “SEMA show Jeep” to driver, trail Jeep in her future. Folks at Cross Jeep great people and things just happened quite unexpectedly. I will sell original paint Penny Cj8 and Caroline CJ7 as projects or finished… going to thin heard

Picked up my 7 yr old daughter from school in the 83 today. The giggles and talks about when it’s hers and where she’ll drive it…. Nothing else matters today

My 12 year old daughter asked me a few weeks ago if she can have my Scrambler instead of my Audi A6 for her first car. It made my heart melt that she loves the Jeep as much as me but she isn't getting it. I did agree to a newer model with more safety features though.

I have had almost the exact same conversation with both of my kids. My plan is to get each of them an LJ with a manual transmission for the same reasons you stated..

If all stays the same with mine she'll get a newer Wrangler and then the Scrambler when she graduates college and has a place to put it. I'll let her drive it from time to time with me with her first of course. But we do have 9 years before she gets her license so who knows ....

This is what my in-laws did with my wife and our '65 Vette. She got to drive it to school on Fridays in nice weather.

Here are a couple updated pictures of my scrambler, I added Dana 60s from East Coast Gear and new bumpers. I also put a 1" longer rear shackle on to level it out a bit. Oh and new wheels and 37" tires.
