I had a blowout at 75 mph coming home from a trip Wednesday so I got new BFGs for Maxine, our Silverado. Now she and Ole Bess have matching footwear.

Has anyone else noticed how much prices for such 'luxury items' have increased over the last year? Crikey.

Prices are crazy. Eggs double at my local store in the last 10 days, very luxurious. In Dayton, Ohio, a Speedway gas price jumped from $2.72 right to $3.15 on Tuesday, also a luxury like tires are. :mad:

Two years ago jet fuel was under $1/ gallon. Now it's nearly $3. That's going to filter down to all sorts of things.

Good thing we closed those two oil pipelines a year ago.
