We have several chinee gas ones also at work. They are about 10 years old now, but the newer are batteries. The are going green since then.

The chinee are going electric because they own most of the raw material for batteries in the world and it sells well to The West. The only 'green' they'll ever care about is the Greenback.

As electric gets more ubiquitous, the chinee have positioned themselves well to be the next middle east; for batteries rather than oil.
