Getting Back at it!

Some y'all been waiting patiently, or impatiently for 4-5 years. Well, this is the year, finally have decided it's time to get back at it. Fat Kid Fire Sauce is on it's way back, hopefully to stay around this time! It's a short grow season up here, but just got all the seeds ordered and will be getting them started next week.

Definitely, been using Joe and Penny's seeds for years and I remember the hand written labels on ziplock baggies. Their seed bundles even come in little gift type boxes now too.

It's months away, just got the seeds started a couple weeks ago. Probably won't be till late Aug/Mid Sept before I get enough peppers to do anything with. Once I get some ready I'll let all y'all know.
 
Well the pepper adventure for this year was a complete flop with having such dry and hot weather all summer things just didn't go to plan, so not gonna be doing much for sauces this year. Kinda feel like Happy Gilmore at the hockey tryouts, Better luck next year. Might have enough to do a couple very small batches of a Red Scotch Bonnet, and I have a friend that can get all the Jalapenos one could want, so I will be doing a huge run of the Candy Ass Jalapeno.
 
Yup, crazy year for gardening... tomatoes look like pears, cucumbers look like pears... peppers... well we only got 5 and they are as small as strawberries... very strange year indeed!

My tomatoes went berserk, just processed 500+ roma tomatoes into sauce today, off of 5-6 plants and still have hundreds more that need to ripen. Everything else kinda went to sh!t.
 
Last year was an awesome year for peppers, this year, not so much. I put peppers, potatoes and eggplants in, potatoes are doing great. Sweet, red & yellow potatoes and some green stuff that became legal to grow here, now, in VA 😎 are close to harvest
