Jeep Snow Pics...Post 'em up!

We got around 6" with gusty blowing snow. Temp went from 26 deg this morning to 11degs by 2 pm.
 
Minus 8 here now - maybe going past 20 below by morning. Breezy and blowing snow, maybe six inches as well. Pics tomorrow - the 82 Scrambler is the only road vehicle in the yard; I'm hoping it starts tomorrow!:fingerscrossed:
 
Well.... It almost started. 21 below this morning, had to get out a second (warmer) battery and cables, then "talk" to it a bit. Start, restart, start, restart etc. Then it was fine and only a litlle shoveling of drifts. The snow had the sound and texture of white styrofoam where it was frozen. Then out to try and start Julie's diesel VW for a road trip (a joke, I thought), which started so easily (after the jumper cables were hooked up) I didn't even bother with a picture. Those Germans have that technology nailed...
Lots of seasmoke out on the open lake.

How about ready for snow with the old and new tow vehicles, the old is sold....

The Scrambler is staying warm in the garage. I might get it out for a poser snow picture after I'm done pushing snow in the next day or 2, we're supposed to get 9" to 14" tonight.

Don't be jealous, 48C here today. I was just getting ready to fly out. Kinda looks tempting to jump the bus over the loader.
Quick story: last night on night shift a loader driver (not this little loader but an enormous 15' wheel one) was dropping its load and as he headed off he hit a boulder in the dark, the loader lurched, he accidentally hit the reverse lever as he got knocked out and the behemoth shot backwards through a fence and hit a shovel which stopped him going backwards off the ROM pad and down a 70metre cliff. The loader was stuck spinning its wheels against the shovel and other wheels spinning on steel mesh. Other loader driver jumped up between spinning wheels and stopped the engine. Yikes, get out of jail free.

Nice Rams. We'd pay $150k for one of those over here, without the headgear.
 
Hey gazzo, I assume that a "shovel" as described above is something that can stop a loader dead in its tracks and not the USA shovel we use to dig out from subject snow...
 
OK now I'm tired of this Snow.. Another 3 inch this morning.

The one in the back is a Ford 2005 F250 SD. I sold it a week ago as it sits. The new RAM CTD is a 2015.
 
Thanks gr8dain. It sure took alot of adjusting to get them right. Probably should have left my hard doors on until spring.
