Oh, for reference, the JK frame is approximately 4-6" wider than the CJ frame, depending on where you pull tape at. I'm down to 8 hours a day at work for the next week, then two weeks off for Christmas holidays, one of which I don't have my kids. So, this JK will be cut up, and the frame slid under, and see what we need for body mounts. Motor mounts will be interesting, as will making sure the grill, fenders and hood all work. I'm not looking to stretch those. I'll be cutting the back quarters. The JKU wheelbase is 116", and the CJ 8 is 103.5". I really don't want to comp cut this beast. I don't like the look, personally, and want this thing as road legal as 40" tires will let me!

In Alberta, sometimes we get away with a couple inches of tire outside the flares, sometimes we don't. So if I can keep the tires more or less covered, that's one plus.
