A good night of camping led to a really lovely choice of trails. This particular one had washed out a few years prior, and people had started to use a bypass. We decided to hit it. It hit back.

We eventually made it out. It took us about 3 hours to do 1000’ give or take. Power steering gone. Alternator gone. Broken winch rope. Tore a rust hole wide open in the tub. Starter gone. But we made it off the trail, and home.
