Been a while since I did a update to this thread.....to busy enjoying summer
there's a couple upgrades, well changes, that I've done.
I started playing with my fuel injection again because the flat spot, uneven AFR left to Right was still irritating me. First thing that I did was pull the GMPP intake off and swapped a Short Summit dual plane intake on. It was about the same, maybe worse. So more reading and the search was on for a single plane intake to try. I found a RHS single plane on Ebay for a decent price. The bonus was it has injector bungs for direct port machined in. That way done the road I can go direct port. It may be a short road. I already have the injectors installed, fuel rails, fuel rail mounts, and wiring harness built and installed.
Here is where I had to modify for my A/C compressor and add a bung for the Vortec bypass.
fuel rail, injector, and mount mock up
And the good news is, once installed, my uneven flat spot is GONE!!!!!!! after 2 years of screwing around. bottom line, the Terminator EFI didn't like the dual plane.
The other thing I did was pick up a set of Toyo Open County MT's for dunes and street, the Mud Graplers were way noisy.
The latest cool addition is a trophy for 1st place in the show and shine at the Two Trackers 4x4 fest military edition in Hudsonville.
