Been wanting to try this one for awhile. I am the farthest thing from knowing Bourbons, but this is the smoothest finish I have ever had.

Jefferson’s wheated bourbon is great as well. I have no idea if aging on a ship actually changes any flavor profile, but the end result is smooth.

But my “go to” everyday bourbon is four roses single barrel.

The ocean aging absolutely flavors the bourbon. The brown color is the tannins from where the clear liquor moves in and out of the barrel wood as it ages and the temperature and humidity change. So when the outside air is salty, it absolutely moves into the bourbon.

I REALLY like the Ocean.

That is the one... heading to the store later to see if they have any left... it is sometimes there, sometimes not.
