Yes, they did them while I waited, about 15 minutes start to finish.

I believe they are the same size as the World Cab rear door logo.

EDIT: Randy, I finished the rear view for you and I removed the spare and bumpers from the side view, since you're going to use these views for designing bumpers.

gosh I wish, sometimes, that there were some of the services around here that y'all have. It's at least a 100 mile and maybe 300 mile trip each way to get decals made......

I'm in a fairly small town (30,000 area population) but it is big enough to be the "big city" for the local region. I didn't have to go outside for any services for this project - there's a driveshaft shop, and of course a muffler shop to lengthen those parts; the sign shop for decals and the body shop. Because it isn't really a big city, everyone takes personal interest in the projects, especially after I show them photos of what I'm building.

About decals - if any of the friends of this build need help with decals, let me know. (you friends know who you are - those who have contributed suggestions and support). I enjoy doing the graphics on my computer and the sign shop is quick and inexpensive. I just did some for Truck...

Hey Truck - we're expecting you to post photos of these once they're applied to your Jeep!

Update on the paint process - the guys at the body shop tell me they're on schedule to do the Rhino Liner Friday. Here's a few in-progress shots of the panel prep. Jamie is a perfectionist, he's fixing things I never would have bothered with. The spot welds on the bed sides have been smoothed so well you'll never know they are there after paint.

And of course I've asked him to go over all my amateur body work and perfect it for me. :)

Hopefully some photos of the Rhino process tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer Jeff, when and if I need any graphics I'll keep it in mind. Even the state capitol (35-40 miles from here) doesn't have much, not even air service, so it's often a challenge here.

The CJ-10a hardtop panel seems to have enough clearance so I think it will be fine. (Famous last words? :) ) I will let you know if I'm wrong...

Having removed that top from the -10a it was on, I think you'll be just fine.

I've measured the clearance, and discussed the thickness of the bed liner material with Jamie at the body shop and everything will fit fine.

Always good to double check, thanks Totenkopf for asking.

Monday morning update: Bed parts are still in the paint booth, Jamie the perfectionist spent more time smoothing spot welds on the bed parts on Friday than planned so the bed liner didn't get done Friday. As of this morning the bed parts are in epoxy primer. Jamie expected the liner to be on by mid-day so probably more photos later today.

Looks like the progress being made is first rate, just like this whole build. I can't wait to see how it looks fully assembled and painted!:thumbsup:
 
Here are some shots of today's progress; everything is primed and perfectionist Jamie is doing guide coat/block sanding today.

He plans to shoot the color/clear tomorrow (Thursday) so we can assemble the truck Friday.

Got to the body shop this morning just as Jamie was masking for paint. I'll go back in a few hours to get some shots of the painted tub.

Big photo below shows the bed liner on the tub rim. I'm really happy with how it worked out, it's a nice thin coat that will protect the rim from being scratched by the hardtop. The liner extends down under the tape, but not all the way to the outer side of the tub. Jamie had already masked this for the paint by the time I got there so you can't see the it all.

Also below is a photo of Jamie's '46 Chevy - his truck is definitely show-winner quality. My quick snapshot doesn't do his truck justice, the quality and craftsmanship is just awesome - the whole thing is just flawless. I'll bet the work he's doing on the back half of my truck will make the Jeep factory paint on the front look like crap :)

More photos later today as the painting progresses. Still on track for reassembly and driving it home tomorrow... stay tuned.

Mid-day update: Tub has been painted and looks great! The bed parts will be painted this afternoon.

The paint is a perfect match. In the lower left photo it looks like the paint doesn't match so well but the original paint is dirty and also a bit oxidized from two years of use so they'll buff it back to match the new paint.

And in the lower right photo, the complete bed liner on the rim of the tub.

I do think this shop is above average, but the real gem here is getting Jamie assigned to this project. He does national show car quality work. He's really awesome.
 
And one last update today...

Here's a peek inside the paint booth at the rear fenders. The photo doesn't really do them justice but you can see some of the quality of the finish in the reflections on the flat parts and on the curves. I'm really happy with these (and proud of them), because I fabricated them myself and Jamie didn't have to spend too much time getting them from my amateur 95% state to his level of quality.

Jamie and I will begin reassembling the truck at 8am tomorrow. The next photos I post will be of the completed truck - which will either be tomorrow night or Saturday afternoon, depending on how much I get done tomorrow.

Again...beautiful.

All the local body shops here deal only with insurance claims and newer cars. I called almost all of them trying to find a decent place to get a paint job on my Scrambler. The "best" local body shop said my best bet was Maaco! I did find a nice place that wanted $14,000 to paint the Scrambler...they specialized in high quality show cars...

Still not quite sure what I will be doing. Honestly leaning more toward a rattle can paint job than giving my money to these people...

So, again, I am jealous...
