Ok, the S10 Truggy is flat out bitchin... that Green rocks!

So...can't wait to see the Scrambler!

x2, I might have to change my mind when I paint the Scram. I was also digging the rock lights, I wired up some green LED's on my friends American Ironhorse, they looked awesome reflecting off the chrome S&S motor and polished aluminum wheels.....

Just had to go with a tub made in CANADA huh? :D

Man I love aluminum.

I would take it just like it looks going onto the trailer. Awesome so far. I couldn't make myself paint one of the aluminum bodies, love that polished look.

For a sneak peak you can head on over to www.powerblocktv.com

Checked out the PowerBlockTV site. Gotta admit those are some WAY expensive but trick parts ya'll are using. That will be one Billy-Bad-2D-Bone rig. I just thought mine had a lot of money wrapped up in it. Keep the updates coming. It'll be an ultimate ride for somebody... uh, maybe a raffle?? How bout it, IAN.

Just 'cause we are neighbours doesn't mean we are bad neighbours! ;)

Keep up the good work Ian!

I'll be setting the DVR...in-laws are coming next week so I have to finish up some stuff around the house. I actually made it to the back of the warehouse Monday morning and saw my poor, neglected Scrambler sitting back there :(

I actually ran into Ian at Costco last year (here in Franklin, TN)...he (and his son) took the time to sit down and chat with me. Seriously a good dude. However, I wish he would have simply taken me up on using my Scrambler as the donor vehicle, I am always looking for ways to save $15k :) Heck I am only 10 minutes from their studio.

Ian - much of the work is now complete on my Scrambler (thanks to CJ8LVR), but I am sure we can come up with a few tweaks should you want a local unmolested Scrambler to tinker with on the show! The CJ7 that I've owned for the past 20 years would also be a nice candidate and I would give you full rein...of course this is just to appease the members of this forum that want to see a down to earth project on a budget. (actually not true...I am being selfish and would love to have you modify either one of my CJ's).

I DVR your show and look forward to every episode...thanks for joining this forum and we all look forward to seeing your CJ8 project thru completion...and hopefully in person at the Nationals!

I love the whole powerblock series. I just sit and drool over the tools, the parts and the space.

That's really cool that you found and got on the site, Ian. Can't wait to see the show and the finished Scrambler :)

Ian, we need the formula for that awesome green you used on the Truggy. Just watched that episode dvr'd last nite. That green would be slammin on a Cj-5 I have.

Ian,

I don't think I missed anything this morning but may have when coming back from commercial break.... if you have covered this then I apologize.

My question; are y'all planning on addressing the clearance issue with the 14 bolt axles by shaving them or just going with a real tall tire? I've seen folks shave them some and was just wondering if that was planned for these? I love the idea using a 14 bolt for the front. They are great axles, just real heavy and don't have the best clearance - otherwise, stout axle!

By the way, y'all should call this project - CJ-Eht ... you know pronounced with your Canadian accent.

Lookin Good...when's the next installation?

You are going to clean that 203 range box, aren't you?:D

Can't believe I forgot about this!! Saw the previews a while ago and just never got back to it.:banghead:
I can do quite a bit in my 900 sq ft shop at home ....but i kinda cheated seeing as I used to run my own garage. Nice to actually get to work on my own junk for a change!:)
Props to you Ian and glad to see ya found us.

Later
Sean

Lookin' good, Ian. Appreciated the extra emphasis on why things were done certain ways to work for someone with a 2 car garage and limited tools. Very interesting points on why you went with the custom 14-bolt front too.
