Project Money Pit!

Getting ready to do some work on the scrambler frame this week, does anyone know if there is anywhere i can get already pre bent lines? and possibly a cost?
This way it could save some time, just a thought.

I'm picking up another scrambler parts vehicle, for parts for my 81 project.
The guy I am buying it from states that it has a front "factory" mat. I did see it an it lOoks just like the rear bed mat, but I did not know they made a factory front mat...?
Can anyone verify this or anything?

If it helps it is a 1983....

You inquired about my tub for sale here on cj-8.com.
I have been going through your site and just thought I'd let you know what I found out when I was looking for a tub. I really wanted to buy a new tub, and I wanted it to be steel. If I was to buy a new tub I would go with the Willys Overland modified tub out of Ohio. They take a stock repro tub, and drill the holes, prep the body mounts, and save alot of work from just buying a stock reproduction tub. For me the price was kind of prohibitive, and I was real happy to find the tub I have. The project just turned out to be more than I can afford time wise. I just bought a 91 YJ that is pretty well set up. Just several small projects need to be done so it is more my speed for now.
I like your YJ, how do you like the best top seats? I am sure alot of scrambler owners/builders have been wondering about them but there are not alot of occasions to actually see them before you buy them.
Search Willys Overland . They have alot of info on there site, and I spoke to the owner on the phone. He is a real nice guy.
Just saw you were weighing your options and thought the info would be helpful.

As for the bestop seats, I love them they are super comfortable. But for the price they were a little expensive so i am worried about ruining them or have them fading. The yj is going in for paint within a month and the new bushwackers are being put on.

As for the tub, I think your tub is around what i am looking for as long as the shipping cost agrees with me, let hope so!
I do not really want to go with an aftermarket tub for the OEM reason ( i am not doing an orginial restore) but there is alot more work that i dont really want to do with the new repro tubs

If all goes well, I hope to be cleaning up the frame and coating it with something.
I am curious to what everyone else has used on their frames when they got to this point.

Por 15, in PA there is something called KBS, spray on bedliner, etc.

I am open to suggestions to the pros and cons of what everyone else used and what the outcome was.

If I go with the ss kit, are the fittings all the same going into the proportioning valve and rear drums and such.
Has anyone had any difficulties with the ss kit?

The SS brake lines and fuel lines came prebent with all the right fitting and fit perfect

Well guys I knows it's been a really long time since I posted on here.
Anyways lets get to the chase, my current frame is up for sale as a rolling chassis with a 4 inch super lift kit. If anyone is interested shoot me a pm

I know you guys are wondering why or what had changed my mind well.....

I just picked up a 83 with a virtually rust free tub and frame.

I am hoping to NOT have to take this one too the frame like previously

I will be posting pics.
