Well, that's one way to fill up your Jeep with mud. Don't look up.

Yes. !!! U could put a new fiat Cherokee in that thing and it would make it !!!!!!

Now we're talk'n, with twin turbos! Hmmmmmm....Wonder how big a "rooster tail" you could through with that set-up?

how would you change directions???

I'd be pretty easy, you and some of your friends just pick the whole thing up and point it in the direction you want go, get back in, and your off....or if the whole thing is too heavy to lift you just take it apart like these guys.

Today's quote without a story:

According to Google Maps, the most direct route between the off-road meccas of Moab, Utah, and California’s Rubicon trail covers 729 miles. The maximum range of the Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel is 730 miles between fill-ups.

Someone found a case of yellow spray paint and had nothing to do...

I bought that jeep back in 2001. it was rusty. It became this very quickly, then drove it for 6 months or so and sold it.

When I worked at the Navy, I got to test the brand new (at the time) HMMWV and a military-prepped version of the Mercedes G-Wagen at the offroad testing area at Quantico in 2001. I spent most of my time driving the Mercedes in front of the Hummer because the Hummer was so new that they didn't yet have a brush gaurd and didn't want to smash in the fiberglass hood because it was the only one they had on base and it was to be used to drive VIPS around base.

We were driving over trees, knocking them down, no trail whatsoever, it was awesome except for coming onto a hornets nest at one of the break points and having to dive into the vehicles and find/kill the hornets that made it inside with us (nowhere else to go).

It poured rain the day before we went and it was a complete mud-fest. One of the requirements of us was to wash the hummer afterwards to make it spotless. It took two hours and we found a 5" diameter branch about 2" long wedged in the undercarriage. Had to lay under it and spray up into the underside to get it clean, it was a complete mess, but we had a BLAST. Never forget that day.

Sounds like a ton of fun. I bet you got dirty laying under it and cleaning it.
