If you ever had the chance to meet Peter Vera/@ineedajeep you made a friend. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and was just a ray of sunshine, always smiling and laughing. I loved getting to see him at Nationals and we started a tradition of alternating which of us would bring a nice bottle of bourbon or brown liquor to share.
He introduced me to Pappy Van Winkle and Old Scout Smooth Ambler. His creole accent just made talking to him that much more enjoyable and his laugh was infectious.
You will be deeply missed, my friend. I’d been saving this bottle to crack when I got the stroker running in the Postal, I think Peter would be smiling at me popping it open in his honor tonight instead.
