We are close to being done and sending this back to paint shop for touch ups, clear coat and decals.
Recently fixed a transfer case leak and Dustin painstakingly tracked down what was causing the check engine light to illuminate (o2 sensor). Finally obtained Installed drivers side full door lock mechanism from a new seller after being sent the passenger side lock twice. After getting ghosted by eBay china distributor to send correct part on third try and no help from eBay to resolve.
And lastly, the emergency brake cable purchased (along with many other items) from inline tube last January. The end knob broke off. It has been used a handful of times. When I contacted them, they told me “due to the age of the order and being so far outside our 30-60 day exchange period for problems like this the shipping to us would be covered by you and the fix and shipping to you would be covered by us but that is the only solution we can offer with that cable. If you would like to place a new order and pay for a new cable we can offer free shipping for that cable.”
Basically, they have a 60 day warranty on their parts and if it doesn’t arrive broken, you better hope it breaks quickly.
It would be much easier to just allow us to send this one back while they ship us a new one, but that’s not an option.
