Not understanding why everyone is so protective over something they have no control over!? I think that concept looks outstanding...YJs look great with square headlights. Our stock scramblers were not good looking vehicles, nostalgia clouds the eyes. How many of us have left them stock?

There’s a reason the TJs had round headlights. That’s all the proof you need that your statement is wrong.

Bell bottom pants were popular in the 1960s, and then they were out and back to straight leg ones. And then they came back again. I think Jeep was following the fad with the rectangular lights, and then the newness was gone, and back to round lights and straight leg pants again. As long as Jeep keeps the seven vertical slots in the grill, they can change the headlight shape to follow a fad IMHO. But overall, YJs look more like traditional Jeeps than those after 2006.
