Well the time has come. After 22 years I'm leaving VA. Becky and my dream was to retire in Colorado so our ultimate goal was to get there before retirement time. I was recently offered and have accepted a job as the Senior Program Manager for Intel Fusion at AF TENCAP in Colorado Springs, CO. This will get us to CO and back to the Air Force (Go Falcons!!) for the last few years before we both retire. I will be working with cutting edge systems to bring the absolute best intelligence capabilities to the Air Force and Space Force. My last day at my current job will be 29 Jan. I have to report to TENCAP 30 Mar so that gives me 2 months to pack as much as I can and get moved on several trips back and forth. We have been entrenched in our current home for over 20 years the longest I have ever lived anywhere in my entire life. So it is going to take a bit to dig out. Any of you are welcome to come help pack or join on one of the drives out to unload 😊and spend a few days at our incredible property we have named ‘Royal View’. It will be awesome to wake up to this view in CO.Royal View.jpg

Hey buddy I have family in Co & already have a trip planned for this year there. I'm within 11 months of my retirement window opening. I'll be out West a lot after that. Will def look you up 👍
 
Congrats! What did you ever end up doing to get your Jeeps out there? Last time I talked to you (back in 2022) you were tossing around a few ideas.

I worked at Peterson AFB for a short time about 25 years ago.

I loved Colorado Springs back then, and I'm sure I'd still love it now.
 
Congratulations. Nice view and place. I don’t know about winters, but the rest of the year will be great. But a heated garage is the difference maker.
