I'm playing with gauge and switch layouts while cleaning up the under dash rats nest I made

Went to the desert to sight in a new rifle for my daughter, and of course the gratuitous Jeep photos were soon to follow. Oh, and the football game s***** tonight.

Got stuck (again) in snow over top of the tires after breaking through the crust. Decided it was time for putting the new Powermaster alternator on. Plenty of power now for the winch!

I have to admit I have an awesome wife. Called to order the Rusty's 2.5 lift for when I start on the scrambler (getting quite the pile of parts, need to finish the TJ soon). As we are in the same state and only an hour apart, shipping was ridiculous so I was looking at taking time off next week to pick it up. Wife offered to drive down and get it for me. She picked it up and have it sitting in the garage already. Gotta love a woman who will offer to go pick up parts for you :)

SHLTR2, you're not the only one who got stuck today...

2, proofread and cleared by the NSA.

New aluminum valve cover, replaced the fender flares, new glove box insert, and replaced the shift pattern plates with shiny new ones. Tomorrow is car wash with the degreaser to clean off the motor and verify she is sealed up tight. Next step is to go through the clutch and get it adjusted right. Also have to cap off the exhaust piece (used for emissions stuff?) that the previous owner cut and rolled over. Gives a nice little exhaust leak....

Great picture but something is missing. Needs a bottle of Double Tap Gun Cleaner and Lubricant sitting on the table. :headbang:

No, I expect not - just seeming like a daily thing here. Not today though! :) That's not a pic of you being stuck is it?

well i was supposed to replacing a heater motor.. but i just bought another jeep instead ... lol does this logic compute to any of you?

Went to the Lucas Oil Regional in the Scrambler. Wild horse race venue. Got to see Corry Weller practicing for the new season. She smoked the competition in the race.

You need to crank up the sound for this one...

Here you go tower.

Note the new "710" cap. The other came loose and I found it later half melted to the manifold. This one will not come loose.

New flares - driver side

passenger side

interior from 2 weekends back

And our workbench for the last couple of weekends. She is all cleaned up now.

And the previous owner's way of capping off the pulse air line on the upstream side.

I have capped it. A lot less exhaust noise now...

Man, I'd love to take a few laps in one of those. I'd be pathetically slow, but I'd need to slide sideways through the window to get my smile out...

Earlier this year I got to take a couple hot laps on this same track in a new Ford Raptor. I haven't stopped smiling since! Got some major air! (Well at least it felt major) The suspension in the Raptor is phenomenal. If you ever get a chance...take it.

Doesn't look like much but got a lot of the wiring resolved/installed for the new Speedhut gauges and cut out a bunch of stock wiring.
