Cj-8 Hot Wheels and Matchbox

Could be the end...there was a new pallet display at Fred Meyers, I spent 15 minutes looking through the whole thing, and not one Scrambler.

(My wife thinks I'm a bit nuts, and the looks I got from some of the shoppers...:rolleyes:)
 
Stopped by a Wallmart I don't normally go to and found 5 white scramblers. Brings the total I have to 27 or so. My wife also looks at me oddly when I go check out the hotwheels display :)
 
Watch the ten pack sets , my wife and I were grocery shopping last week and my wife found a white one in a set . My nephews are going to think I,m the coolest uncle in the world when I give them the other nine.:thumbsup:
 
motor problems..

Seems as the white scram had a problem and was backing up traffic at work. Had to stop and get a roll off to get it moved so the furniture can get delivered. I highly recommend the "back slider".

Anyone else see the "Flag Day" ones? I got three of them off eBay, they have a special card design and stars/stripes graphics.

I have one of the Flag Day ones...pretty cool except for the wheels...
 
I got 4 of these last night for my 3rd anniversary present... and a t-shirt... life is good!

I got a red lined wheel, a non-red lined wheel, burgandy and a white one... my wife actually picked up on the fact that I really wanted them... now I have to get her to pick up on the fact that we need to build the real Scrambler to look somewhat like the white one and we will be all set!

I haven't found any more singles, but I found 5 of the 10-pack sets that had the white Scrambler in them. These are marked at the top as having the 2010 Collector's Catalog inside, which my earlier one I got didn't.

I bought two, willing to part with one if somone out there was interested in paying for it and shipping. If one person wants all three of the others, I could try to get back to the Toys R Us to get them, but I didn't know if anyone wants these enough. I'd be willing to trade it for blue/maroon ones in the box. I have lots of white ones to work into a trade too.

For me, it's all about having these in the box. I wanted to have a number of each type/set that were available :thumbsup:

Anyone interested?
 
Just a heads up to the toy Scrambler collectors on here, Hotwheels just released another color of their Scrambler casting. They released a bunch of "Race Kits", and the Snow kit is an ice blue Scrambler along with a tricked out snowmobile, a little snow track and a white Christmas tree. $2.99 a kit, so I just grabbed two of them at my local K-Mart.
 
If anyone is interested, I have a discontinued Pro Line RC Scrambler body (clear polycarbonate). Still sealed in the factory bag with decals. I think it is a T-Maxx size body, but it would also be perfect for a custom scale RC Scrambler build:thumbsup:
 
Oohhh- I GOTTA find one of those snowmobile sets.

Someone needs to talk to HotWheels about their wheel choices, however...
