I had a buddy helping me... I'd never done it before. He has worked on both semis and light trucks. He said its kind of a learned finesse. His uncle taught him to tighten it down until you can't spin the hubs then "back it off a bit". He said a lot of people leave them too loose. He said that my driver's side was way too loose... The result a cracked race that wallowed out the inside of the hub. So we had to order a new hub (which ended up being a 5 bolt for the lockout instead of the 6 bolt that we needed!

so it's still on jack stands right now). As far as torque specs I have no idea, he mentioned that they can hard to find because everybody has their own opinion on how to do it. Hope I didn't make more confusion... I'm trying to learn all this stuff myself!
