DIESEL JEEP – An “All-New” CJ8 Scrambler

That's awesome, but a little out of my price range, unless I sell the house and then the little woman would make me sleep in it. And WELL SHE WOULD BE SLEEPING SOMEWHERE ELSE..........:(

Some pictures I took of it at SEMA in 2014. I've never seen another one, I wonder if this it the only one they've made?

At that price, their eligible buyer's market has to be fairly small.

Ok... I get that it's a "custom", low production, high end jeep. I can't say it rings my happy bell but does anyone have info on the diesel used in it?

According to the article linked to in the first post:

The best part of this Jeep is the 630T V-6 diesel engine from Banks Power. The 630T is a 3.0-liter V-6 mill that puts out 240 hp @ 3,500 rpm and 420 lb-ft @ 1,500 rpm. It is tri-fuel capable, meaning it can run on diesel #2, bio-diesel blends and JP8.

Interesting it is a VM Motori (Italian) motor (same company who gave us the POS used in the liberty) but marketed by Banks??

I wonder what they'd sell this green one for now that they've had and used it for a couple of years?

apparently, the guy who owns that Scrambler, went to EJS 2015 and rolled it.
