New Site Issue Thread

Only a little nit to pick. I have had to re-enter my user name and password to log into the site each time, despite having the "stay logged in" box checked.

Other than that, no problems. The new site looks great!

Let me know if you or anyone have issues from the time of my post moving forward. (you may still have to login once, but let me know you have to do it more than once). I experienced the same thing and suspect it had to do with some web server changes that transpired overnight and today.

How do you change avatar pic? Also no more pics in signature if so how do you change them? I've looked but can't find anything. Not computer savy.

You should be able to tap your avatar and then do it again in the pop-up window that shows your user info and then once more in the next screen to select a new picture. This version is much more flexible with avatar images.

On the signature, we’re still sorting out the different user levels and there will be some changes with things like signature sizes and pictures. Be patient with us on that.

When posting photos from IPhone I pushed “thumbnail “. And not sure what I did after that. Several duplicates, some full photo and some thumbnails.

Try a couple test posts. I’m going to guess this was a user issue ? photo attachments seem to be working pretty well, you want to be sure to only click either thumbnail or full image once.

I’m not really a fan of the thumbnails because full images resize so nicely anyway, that’s why I want to add the plugin that inserts any attachment as a full image automatically. (You could still delete the insert code and add thumbnails if you want afterward)

Tried clearing your cookies? What browser/computer? I’m not having this issue.

I have not cleared my cookies. I will try that.

I am using Chrome on my computer.

It seems that I can stay logged in as long as I have not closed my browser. I can go to other websites and come back and I am still logged in. Once I close the browser and then go to the site, I have to log in again.

I did the same thing this morning, it gives you an option at the top to choose full picture for all Pictures

I have the exact setup as OGRES, (Chrome, 7, PC) and haven't had any problems with needing to log back in after shutting down.
HTH with troubleshooting.

BTW... Is the "multi-quoting" option still available?

Looks like it, just hit "Reply" on each post and it puts in for you.
Thanks for the reply.
I was attempting to "multi-quote" by using the new feature where you can highlight a portion of a post, and add it to the reply as a quote.
After your reply I tried the "highlight-reply" in multiple posts and it worked. :banghead:

That was way too easy! :woot:

When I tap a picture, then zoom in and then pan to look at something up close i get a very jumpy movement that makes it hard to pan precisely. Anyone else having this issue? Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Also, is there an optimal file size for uploads?

I have to re-enable multi-quote, it will be available. When it's available, you'll be able to also use the highlight reply feature with it too, you'll be able to either reply or reply with multi-quote
