I'm interested in buying it and I just sent you a message.

Posted image of VIN. Going to let go if someone interested and appreciates what it is. Titled and insured but three weeks ago removed top to access floors and decide on floor pans with braces.

I bought my top and doors from one of the members on here. I'll research my archives to come up with a name. He lived in Alaska in the summer and Pullman, Washington in the winter.

Bought my top and doors on here. Picked up in Oregon, drove to Calgary. It was shipped back to Houston with me. I remember at pick up the gentleman saying he scrapped the jeep, or was going to scrap. I have photos of it before the top was removed.

1984 Overlander AM General Corporation Company Vehicle. Taken off production line and used as snow plow until Toledo plant closed. 16,925 original miles and runs well. I purchased with plow and lights. Never previously titled, so I applied for first title, and installed lights in empty sockets. As expected floor pans poor condition. Side panels, dash, interior panels good. Overlander top and glass very good condition.
Not sure I can handle an off frame restoration. Would like to sell to someone who appreciates Overlander history. $3,500 before Xmas. Located Spencer Indiana.

Can you post more pics and details? Is it running? How bad are floor pans?

#17 in the first list in this thread from the Colorado Scramble appears to be pictured in the 2019 EJS magazine in the Sleep Inn ad on page 85.

Can you get the photos up?

...and I recently picked up a mail-tray from another postal that was getting scraped.

Just reread your list, is the one that you got the tray from that was scrapped included somewhere else in the list or is this another that we should account for as gone?

I grew up outside Spencer, IN, did you end up selling this one?

Do you know what the situation is with the Jeep itself?

It was #37 in your list, except I purchased it from a Tim Schalk in Lockport, IL. Tim confirmed that the Jeep itself went to Florida w/o top and doors. Tim also has a restomoded postal w/o a top. I don't see it on the list though.

37. Andrew Schalk has a Postal (Lockport IL) and has the World Cab and doors that were sourced from the Postal that is now the blue surf-themed example without a top/doors that is currently for sale in Florida.

This one popped up on FB today in AZ and the owner isn’t on here so I won’t post his name. As of this post, it's indicated as "L" under "need more information"

Wow, I really like that color on a postal. Wonder if it is paint or spray on liner. Hope they join this site and share more info on that build. Good find.
