There are a couple of hidden surprises for you Michael. Think like a Narco!
Like ala French Connection ?There are a couple of hidden surprises for you Michael. Think like a Narco!
Just don't get confused and start driving down the wrong side of the roadI did not know that these were produced but I am glad I know now. I would like to have one of these! I think it would especially be handy in the northern part of the country with all the snow and cold. Thanks for sharing.
Lol, that would be fun for a little while. Even better would be to pick up a date in it and open the “driver’s side” door for her to get into lol. “Is he really going to make me drive?”Just don't get confused and start driving down the wrong side of the road
I think this one is still for sale.I did not know that these were produced but I am glad I know now. I would like to have one of these! I think it would especially be handy in the northern part of the country with all the snow and cold. Thanks for sharing.

Gives a good comparison of standard lift and tires compared to a little lift with 33” tires.

Still anxiously looking forward to more pictures of the red overlander! And maybe an update on what your doing to it.
Sure. I don't have any new pics since Christmas. It needs a quick wash as I was caught in a downpour going to the state VIN inspection. However, I have a good list of updates on it though. The best news is that it passed all the customs, safety and VIN inspection and is officially titled in Texas.
-Replaced the Holley carb and manual choke with the standard 2-bbl Carter and electric choke. People might question, but (1) the Holley/choke had major issues getting started and warm; (2) I'm more comfortable working on the Carter; and (3) it's now back to factory which is a theme here.
-An owner before Andrew had replaced the starter switch in the column with a push button held under the dash behind the headlight switch. Definitely weird. Rewired the starter switch into the column so it starts by turning the key.
-Replaced the hood to grill bumpers.
-Replaced the headlight switch and the dash pull knobs.
-Replaced the oil pressure and temperature gauges
-Replaced the power steering pump.
-Installed the Overlander-standard Hella foglights and covers on the front bumper.
-Tweaked the transmission shifter sensor so the reverse lights would come on.
-Replaced the cracked floor shifter cover.
-Factory style gas cap.
-Replaced the 6" fender flares withe OEM-style flares.
-Installed rear bumper end caps which are a close facsimile to the limited bumper end caps. Overlander rear bumpers are the standard black front CJ bumper flipped backward and then with limited end caps.
-Slapped on new "Jeep 4 X" hub decals.
-Replaced the windshield wiper blades with OEM-style.
That's the list so far. I have about half that list in remaining must-do's and then another half again in things to consider.
