Just a little bit of work last night.
Cleared out 8 painted brackets and a bunch of hardware:
All of this hardware is 7/16" stuff. Grade 8 would have been preferred, but 5 should suffice. I ended up using 4" long bolts through the frame rails, 3.5" is a bit too short IMO. Also, 7/16 washers have too big of an OD to be used in many places, but 3/8 washers will fit 7/16 bolts and have a smaller OD.
And one big part off the floor:
I still need to adjust/align it, then tighten up all the bolts.
Not a lot, but a little bit of progress every day is better then nothing.
That's it for now

Our local Wilco actually has grade 8 SAE washers in bulk! The SAE washers are a bit thinner but have a smaller exterior diameter and fit the bolt better. The grade 8 designation should make up a bit for them being thinner.

I hit up a local ACE and Lowes/Home Depot. I didn't have any time during the work week to hit up some of the better hardware suppliers. I have had much better luck on selection/pricing from some of the local hardware suppliers we deal with in our commercial contracting business

Wilco- $4.59/lb. Grade 5 is a buck cheaper.

Yes, those places have better prices. I plan ahead when I can. BUT, Lowe's/Home Depot are less than 10 minutes from my house. Ace is 20. Tractor Supply/Fastenal/other industrial bolt suppliers are 30-40 minutes away

Tightened all the bumper bolts, quick polish, looks pretty good. Just need to paint/install the aluminum end caps:

I don't have the hood mounted windshield holders installed yet, and I wanted to install the wiper linkage. Parts Monkey wanted to help, I think it was a bit too heavy for him, though:
Wiper motor/linkage/pivots installed. Cleaned and greased. Installed the defrost duct, too:
I couldn't remember how the wiper wire was secured. Had to look in my old tan Scrambler thread, I remembered I had a picture in that thread when I folded down the WS back in 2014 LOL. Anyway, this is how I ran it, seems to work:

Pictures are in order of how I did the work. No rhyme or reason on some things.
Cleaning up, polishing, lubing the OEM hood loop things:
Cleaning up some other stuff. Clean, tap threads, find hardware, etc.
Old ICM I plan on reusing, don't see this too often:
Installed the ICM. I still do not have the two brake lines that come off the proportioning valve and go up to the master cylinder. I dread installing things in this area because I know it will be no fun installing those two lines now.
Installed wiper arms and hood loops. Pretty sure the motor is at the "rest position". I never go by the measurements in the FSM, I adjust the arms where I want them at rest. Will probably have to adjust in the future. Again, easy work, just getting parts off the floor/bed.
Reassembling the power brake booster bracket/rod thing:
