I do not know if this helps but I just happen to have the wheel flares off my jeep at the moment and they are the original plastic/rubber ones. The clean lines that you see are where the mounting holes were for the original flares. The holes were very close to the edge. Whatever you decide to do it will look great. Keep up the good work and send more pics so we can enjoy. BestJust like this, I thought I mounted these right, now I'm second guessing the position of the flares. They are aluminum and my buddy welded them for me after I marked them up. Now I wonder if I should cut them off and position them lower? I was trying to stay high and towards the rear in case I ever cut the opening bigger. Now I wonder if I screwed that up?
Been busy.
What are you using for the power source?
Agreed, but this is where I'm stumbling.
Does the Painless have one of these. The Holley manual says it needs power which is switched on for run and crank. I'm just having trouble finding a power source other than the coil power which provides this. Before I put the painless harness in i used the choke power, but now that cures off during crank.
Sorry to sideline you, I was just hoping you'd found that secret wire i needed.
