My gift arrived today, and my Secret Santa crushed it. 3 things that I would have never thought of, but can't see myself ever going without now.

This thread and crew is amazing, and glad to be the new guy this year! I'll get pictures out tomorrow!!!

With some persistence from my bride she got the box today, though it was labeled to return to sender. Guy literally went back and pulled it off the truck....

Anyway, got some VA hooch! And a great scale diecast of a '41 Jeep MB1. Thanks Mike!

I have about 4 or five shots left in a mason jar of the real stuff from when I moved up here a few years ago. I keep it in the freezer. Guy I work with had a "connection" with some one from E. TN.... I know the county east of us is a place you don't get off of trails, if you know what I mean!

I like we think alike as I sent Chatt Hooch to my secret partner too...

That’s the key requirement to the WHOLE thing that makes it so fun. You HAVE to do that to participate. It’s a rule!

Since I usually don’t participate, that’s the fun part for me :woot:

That said, I ended up having to put myself in it this year and then I also got a SWEET separate surprise in the mail today I need to photograph tomorrow.

From my Secret Santa (who I still haven't tracked down, as it was labeled Secret Santa), I received:
-An awesome American Motors Thermometer
-Classic Speedometer Keychain
-Light Bar

The thermostat is just so sweet looking, and it will hang with pride. Keychain is clearly perfect for the CJ keys.

As far as the light bar: I've been digging around in my center (Tuffy) console in the dark constantly, and can never find anything. I threw a small flashlight in there to solve it, but then that just got buried too :unsure:. This light bar fits almost surgically under the back shelf, lights up the entire console, and stays put with the magnet so I can always find a light source...solves all my console and flashlight problems!

Thanks to my Santa - I hope to investigate who you are if that's not cause for dismissal from the group :LOL:.

And again - this is so much fun, and excited to be the rookie!
