I have not Seen a MD Juan tub in person so I don’t know how bad they are before Willys Overland massages them. The Willys tub isn’t perfect by any means but I knew that going in. I’m happy I found the original tub and will use it for the postal.

The Willys tub will go to storage and wait until it’s needed. At some point in the future it may be my only option.

I would not relegate them to a coral reef as they are still steel, and (IMO) steel > fiberglass. If I was not 100% concerned with original i’d go aluminum.

But, this is from the perspective of a southerner that never deals with snow on the roads.

Steel is better than fiberglass (even if it's a MD Juan tub). Easier to fix the problems than a fiberglass tub.
