Well I got mine this evening. Really nice. 2 pictures included. One with the gifts, and the other one Demonstrating one of the gifts. I got a Scrambler ornament for the tree and a folding utility knife. The other gift is a very small but very powerful bright portable work light. In the picture I'm out in the garage with the lights out, with just the small work light on, blinding me on the business side of it. There are actually 2 settings. Pretty bright and super bright. I was lucky enough to get one of those lights in last years exchange. I found it to be indispensable in the shop, especially under the dash. The knife- a recommendation from my son, a plumber. Another constantly used item. I figured they would be popular gifts! Glad you like them!
 
I too have received my super secret Santa gift. As the package return address actually said secret Santa. So first of all I would like to say thank you from that individual whom ever that may be. Now what did I receive. Well I actually received 2 items
The first item pretty much consumed the remainder of my evening upon arriving home and my wife being all giddy and insisting I get in the house so we could open it.
Back story here is my wife is absolutely 100% one of those individuals that can not stand to not know what a gift is. The type that has to shake squeeze and feel her presents before Christmas. And even admitted to opening and rewrapping things.
Anyhow obviously I let her open it but decided to have some fun first. I hit the ringer on my phone so it appears I have a phone call. I walk around house for 15 minutes talking to nobody. As she follows me around with the package. I could see it was just killing her so pretending to be done with call., and the first thing out was a T shirt she immediately checked the size and proclaimed YOU got a shirt !!
The next thing out was a book where she proclaimed haha I got a book (she is a school teacher) and she proceeds to head to her study / home office desk. We spent the next 3 hours going thru the book together. I’m 53 been with my wife since 1983 in school. And love being with her so that was actually another gift in itself. The book is awesome and the shirt fits nice thanks again to my secret Santa from my wife and I best wishes to all here on CJ-8
I know photos where are the photos! Settle yourself I’m getting there.
 
Says it all when a gift makes people spend time together enjoying it! This is one of my favorite threads to read. I love tech as much as anyone, but I love books as gifts because you have to think about the person you are giving the book to as you pick it out. Well done!
 
Well, mail is slow for sure this year. My sent package went out on 9th. Notice said shoud have been delivered yesterday, just left my area this morning. Another package my wife ordered took 9 days to travel from a shop I can drive to in under 2 hours that was sent 2 day priority.?
