Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

A few 22 oz. Switchback Ales and listening to my friend play guitar while having pizza with the family... a very nice night out.
The PBR's come in mason jars for 99 cents, but I opted for a step up... I can have PBR's anytime, Switchback fresh out of the tap, not so much...

I'm leaving for a week in Maui this evening---I'll have a few remembering this post, and drinking it in the described location.

Promised and delivered. Although, the bottle is empty- another full one joined it shortly after this picture was taken. It suffered the same fate.

Enjoy the trip. I went to Oahu in January and loved it.

I found Fat Tire in cans. My summer just got a hell of a lot better. We party at a neighbors pool all the time and tend to pack cans to head up he street because its just easier.

Party ON!

Looks like our grocery store is stepping up its beer selection. A small Michigan brewer, Rochester Mills Beer co, Milkshake Stout.

Brewed with chocolate and milk lactose. Heavy on the malted barley. Very nice.

Dirty Bastard from Founders. Very smooth and tasty.

WOOHOO! Founders is one of my local (and favorite) breweries, nice to see someone else around the country enjoying it. In November they release Backwoods Bastard which is Dirty Bastard but Bourbon Barrel aged for a year. Let me know if you are interested in trying it this coming Nov and I shall get you some if you can't find any.

A pretty good Sam Adams IPA from a varity pack.

Founders first 2013 special relase entitled Doom. It is a Imperial IPA barrel aged in Bourbon Barrels. It is a 10%abv. Very strong IPA taste and mild on the bourbon tones. good stuff.

Another very good one from Founders. Went along great with the bacon, pineapple and barbque sauce shrimp kabobs. May have to take you up on your offer Revho.

I am going to have to look for some Founders brews. I am intrigued.

Been a crazy day to include almost electrocuting myself, breaking a window, locking myself out of the house, wife thinking she was going into labor, having to get on the roof to climb through broken window to get back into the house, then racing to pick up my wife and spending the last 5 hours at the hospital only to be told to go home, the baby is not coming yet. I need this beer...and probably another one!

Wow. Some crazy stuff going on at your house good luck with the soon to be baby. Don't get too hammered so you can drive to the hospital again if needed.

An old favorite I hadn't had in a while:

Found Founders Doom this weekend. Very much looking forward to those two bottles.

Hop Devil might be my favorite IPA and Two Hearted is a very good MI brew. Only had the Smuttynose Stout.
