Been a while since we had a Beer thread...

The IPAs are really popular right now. It actually took me a few times to get used to the taste. Yes I suffered through many to get used to them.

I saw an article that Saranac is celebrating 125 years by adding a new IPA (really old recipe) to other twelve packs. So you get 12 of one flavor and get a 13th beer which happens to be an IPA.

Oh, I love all beer equally, but I had a free pass Saturday night and I was in the area of where I could get Yeunling on tap... we aren't allowed that particular beer in NH so whenever I can get it, I get it... and the BL was just walking around and looking at Jeeps beer ;)

Those stouts look delicious, gr8dain!

We were at Deschutes Brewery Friday night, they were pouring a firkin keg of Fresh Squeezed IPA- that is one easy drinking IPA. Here's my son and wife enjoying the festivities.

Central Orgen now has 16 microbreweries!!!!!:woohoo::headbang:

It is a great time for micro brews isn't it? Awesome.

And now I am thirsty for some more dark beer. Is it too early? ;)

I like that glass...think I might need one for my collection. Where did you get it?

Hop and Bean (local tap) had the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA on tap today. Got two growlers...already had 2 glasses...it isn't going to be a very productive afternoon.

OK...half the growler is gone, and I'm relying heavily on spell-correct. That Fresh Squeezed is some good stuff, and I'm definitely getting nothing done this afternoon.:crazy:

Had a Negro Modelo at a local mexican restaurant tonight.

Did I do this one already? Great everyday IPA. Grippos bag of love being shared.

Two for tonight, one for me and one for my wife.

Her's is a black pepper, mango, and honey wine. It is comes from B. Nektar Meadery in Ferndale, MI. Hard to describe this, it tastes good, just not my normal stuff. Light yellow in color and does have a wine flavor. Did not taste the pepper or mango though. 6% ABV

My selection was the latest Founders small batch release called Mango Magnifico. This is labeled as a Malt Beverage with mango and a hint of habanero. It almost seems a little thick to drink, the mango is prevalent as the flavor but there is a nice heat note at the end. Another great release from Founders.
