I run these with Warn chromo front shafts that use the Dana 44 u-joints, no issues in over 12 years. I am only running 33's with MPI 4.2/4.0 with 4:1 in the Dana 300.Also bought the internal splined hubs for a customer's Scout and I think I am going to do the same thing for this, and keep the Dana 30 front. Do some Chromo's with the biggest u-joint that fits and call it done.

Ran the same set up in the tan Scrambler that I sold, 33's, TBI350, 4L60, no issues.
Massive power, much larger tires, and more stupid pedal might bust them, but for my use they work great.
Great deal on the pan. The gasket for it costs more. Also, decided not to spend the 3K (at least) on 2 extra gears, so the 4L60E I had built to support this engine went in.
Where's its low, on 32" tires, I can use a non-double cardan front and thus, use this transmission pan:
8.00 my cost, at GMGreat deal on the pan. The gasket for it costs more.
He sells out quite often, so if you want one for the shelf, I suggest buying one when they are in stock. It can take months for him to get them back in stock. This is a sideline hobby for him.Sticking this here for later:

Keep in mind that a floor shift column automatic is a manual column. Automatic is for the column shift type.
Oh, it's so exciting... like doing 3005055345234 nutserts. You have any photos to go along with your build narrative? I, as I assume others, would love to see your techniques in building.
