Cj-8 Hot Wheels and Matchbox

Found 6 more at a Wally World yesterday, but did not have my wallet on me. And stoopid wally world does not accept Apple Pay, only wally pay.

So, I think these will become easier to find in the next month.

Hide them and go back with money next time. I am 0 for 8(at least) when looking so far.
 
Just checked 4 stores, no blue ones. I found plenty of grey ones, blue FCs too.
The search continues.

I doubt you will find blue scramblers in a store, been several years since they were made.

The grey with brown bottom scramblers are new this year (old casting, new color combo). The FC is a new casting / model this year.

Based on this Ebay picture, I thought they were making the new one in grey and blue. Now I'm thinking differently.

While sorting thru this bin of Hot Wheels at Wal-Mart (searching for Scramblers), I happen to notice the totes in the adjacent isle.
Selected a tote that fit in my cart nicely and began going thru each bin. Filled 2 of the totes then transferred the remaining Hot Wheels into the empty bin. Only found 2 Scramblers out of several hundred.

I found that J10 a month or two ago. It's kind of cool. I gave it to my son like I do most I find, so they get played with and not kept packaged. There was only one and I haven't found one since.

I usually work on the empty-est one first, pull a few out and stack them neatly on top of the other ones or on a nearby display until I've gone through that one all the way, then use that to dump the next one in as I go, etc.

The tote idea is pretty awesome, though. Going to have to keep that in mind.

I'm quite annoyed that I still haven't found the newer XJs. There's a couple I never found. Hit the honey hole at a Walmart in Marquette when I was dropping Laura off at school. Scored a pile of the FCs and a whole mess of Scramblers.
 
I have not seen that one.
