I am not sure I have shared the recent interarion of my Scrambler. Rattle canned the tub black to go with the windshield, hood and tailgate. When the weather gets warmer, I will apply the clear coat (2K stuff). I really want to put the silver and gray Laredo stripe kit on, but with the rear TJ flares and the fact that I am looking to go with tube fenders up front, I may have to get creative with the stripes, I am not sure it is worth it to buy a stripe kit.

Started with CitriStrip, then aircraft stripper, then lots of hours with wire wheel, flapper wheel, and sanding!183B46C9-6ED0-49AD-B075-466F7C687920.png

I scrapped the Rugged Ridge pocket flares (bottom pic) for some gently used Xenon 5 in flares. I still need to freshen up the black color.

Still making room in the garage. Getting closer to starting back in on her! 690997AF-5AA5-4A43-A5A7-089142B7B83F.jpeg4DD7038D-3BEC-46D6-AB9B-692508F23C81.jpegPlus, checked out an interesting ad on Marketplace, ended up driving home a 1999 Yukon. One owner, 96K mikes, looks like new inside. Outside is nice too. Runs great. Couple that bought it were about 70yo when they made the purchase, so it’s been babied and maintained like it should. Never towed anything either- no hitch. I’ll fix all that. Plan is to sell the 2014 Grand Cherokee we bought last year and use this as a daily. Since moving we hardly put any miles on our vehicles, no reason to make a payment on something that just sits. CC4BA1B7-BA76-4BC8-A154-6B85D8BE3B24.jpeg8F76FD22-6042-49B5-82B4-B53601A80A96.jpeg
