Glacial progress on my project continues…

I got the Atlas shifters installed. It required a little bending of the shifters and less tub cutting than I expected. I still need to clean up the tub cuts to eliminate stress points (corners).

Well I have removed insurance and tags from my 1981. Parked under the shed to keep the old FJ company

FJ Cruiser or 40 series? I think I see the distinctive lines of a 40 in the shadows. So many folks call the 40 an FJ now we can't know for sure.

I've had over a dozen 40s, 42s, 45s and 47s. I'm a big fan. The FJ never did anything for me though. Liked it to the A pillar, but they lost me at the B pillar.

I totally read that as "new battery fluid and checks" the first time.

My "KISS" build ended up starting from used parts. I realized that it made no sense to take my original apart. I'm using it for reference as I build my other one.

I totally read that as "new battery fluid and checks" the first time.

I remember having to check the “fluids” (water level) in the car battery. In fact, the 6v in the Willys have have water and caps to access it.

Yup, I have to check the battery fluid in my camper several times a year. Running dual 6v golf cart batteries.

I am from NJ. Moved to Minnesota a few years ago. I drove it back last year to visit my kids.
