Current Scrambler pics

Finally put decals on mine after owning it for 25 years, well actually Dustin (Jeeperdd) did. I’ve also managed to take care of most of the multiple issues that all seemed to assert themselves at the SOA National event last month.

You got your tune done ?

Hey Dain I was wondering. After about 6 of those do you call AAA and get a flatbed for you and the Scrambler ? Here you can go through the drive up window at the daiquiri shop and get daiquiris and drive with them as long as you don’t put the straw in the cover. Just curious

Just part of the way there. It won’t really be done until I get the duel exhaust on it and a temperature sensor sorted out. Also having a bit of an issue getting 100% throttle.

Wow. That is interesting about the drive up place and the straws. I keep my consumption to 2 before I head home. If I were to have 6, I would be spending the whole time in the restroom and not able to drive home.

Actually years back the straw was legal, like 18 was legal to buy alcohol. But when the Feds say no money honey, laws get passed. We are probably a little safer now on the roads.

I guess the straw through the lid would be considered "open container"

And then there’s the Go Cup that’s been popular for decades. You are in a bar or lounge or whatever your favorite watering spot is called.. you are ready to go to the next spot, and you ask the waitress or bartender for a go cup and they pour your drink into a plastic or Dixie cup and you are ready to move on. You are good as long as you are not getting behind the wheel, lawn tractor or boat or horse.

Looks great. Can't wait to see it at Oak Ridge

I had to go chase some parts today since Discount Tire decided to cross thread three wheel studs on my Ram 2500 yesterday. At 114 degrees today and no top, the air conditioner nearly makes it tolerable.

Thought this was an interesting picture. Guy is over in the UK and has older CJ5 right side driver and said that the body was galvanized, and it does look nice, said someone sometime back swapped rusted out for the galvanized body. Then he said the guy had a galvanized CJ8 body. Said he thought the bodies were made in Egypt . Picture of the 8 body. IMG_0163.webp
